Locales
Screenshot Master supports 39 locales so you can create localized App Store screenshots for every market you target.
Available Locales
Arabic, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada), Finnish, French (France & Canada), German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil & Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish (Spain & Mexico), Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.
Add a Locale
In the left sidebar, open the Locales tab and click the "+" button. A searchable popover shows all available locales — select one to add it.
The new locale inherits all designs from the default locale. You can then customize text, images, and design independently.
Remove a Locale
Right-click on a locale in the Locales tab and select "Delete". A confirmation dialog appears. Removing a locale deletes all its overrides (text, images, background, layers) across every screenshot.
The default locale cannot be removed.
Translate
Auto-Translate
Click "Translate all screenshots" in the right panel to automatically translate all text into every locale you've added. Translation is powered by AI and handles all screenshots at once.
Manual Edit
Select a locale in the left sidebar, then double-click any text block on the canvas to edit it. Each locale has its own independent text for every screenshot.
Per-Locale Design
Each locale can have its own customized design. Depending on your sync options, you can independently adjust per locale:
- Text — different wording, font, size, weight, color
- Background — different colors, gradients, or images
- Device bezel — different app screenshots per locale
- Layers — different positions, content, or visibility
- Images — different background images or layer images
This is useful when certain locales need design adjustments — for example, Arabic text may need a different layout, or Japanese text may need a smaller font size.
Sync Options
Sync options control how changes propagate between locales. Open them in the right panel under Document Options.
Mirror
Every change is applied to all locales simultaneously. All locales stay perfectly in sync.
Best for: projects where all locales share the exact same design.
Override (default)
Changes to the default locale are applied to all other locales. However, each locale can be adjusted individually — manual edits to a non-default locale are preserved.
Best for: most projects. Start from a shared design, then fine-tune per locale as needed.
None
Each locale is fully independent. Changes only affect the selected locale.
Best for: projects where each locale has a completely different design.
Switching from None to Mirror or Override will copy the default locale's settings to all other locales, overwriting any per-locale customizations.
Default Locale
The default locale (set when creating the project) is used as the base for all other locales. It appears first in the locale list with a globe icon.
All fallback resolution uses the default locale — when a locale has no specific override for a property, it inherits from the default locale.
